Dressy 60’s ::

The birth era of the bikini; the 60’s were the rebellion decade. Breaking many fashion traditions, the 60’s saw a certain kind of mutiny with miniskirts, the beginning of pop culture, mix matched prints to name a few.  From a design perspective, hemlines were cut shot, waistlines were highlighted and play suits were introduced. Many designers catered to the young adults making trends widely.

Before 60’s, women were always an accessory to men and depended a great deal on their better halves. However, the 1960’s represented a new feminine ideal for women and young girls who are single, active, and economically self-sufficient. Thus lead a lot to power dressing.
